Chef/Owner Jackson Kalb has worked in kitchens since age 13. He started at Melisse Restaurant, then worked at Joel Robuchon, Alinea, Union Square Cafe, Hillstone Restaurant Group, and Factory Kitchen.

Partner/Owner Melissa Saka has run dining rooms for over 14 years. After 7 years at Hillstone Restaurant Group, Melissa's lack of enthusiasm for rigid corporate structure gave her the motivation to create a truly exceptional guest experience for Jame.

we want you to enjoy yourself (responsibly). our corkage policy is $15, for the first two 750-ml bottles per table, and $25 for each bottle thereafter. Corkage per bottle is waived for each bottle purchased off our menu. brownie points to whoever offers the chef a glass.
